Are Hiroshima and Nagasaki the biggest Terrorist Attacks in Human History?
A lot of people speak of Pearl Harbor or 9/11 being the biggest, but wasn’t Pearl Harbor technically NOT a terrorist attack but a Militay Pre-Emptive Strike? I mean Israel did the same thing to Egypt in 1967 what Japan did to the US in 1941. Also, the Japanese did NOT intentionally target civilians in Pearl Harbor, and Civilian Deaths in Pearl Harbor were Collateral Damage.
In Hiroshima, Nagasaki, and 9/11 civilians were INTENTIONALL TARGETED.
But if Pearl Harbor was terrorism, then that would make Israel a Terrorist Country becase Israel ALWAYS uses Military Pre-Emptive Strikes like in 1967 against Egypt, in 2008 against Syria, etc.
If your definition of terrorism= INTENTIONALLY TARGETTING CIVILIANS FOR a POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS, or MILITARY OBJECTIVE, then Hiroshima and Nagasaki ARE TERRORISM.
I’m really CONFUSED. If you say only groups are terrorists and Countries that Declare War aren’t terrorists, then howcome Iran’s a Terrorist?
You people actually are not making any sense. You seem to have different standards for different races and different religions. If Pearl Harbor was Terrorism, then Israel’s attack on Egypt in 1967 was Terrorism.
You guys racist and religioust double standards remind me of a funny story.

Hey Armourour
1 White Australian Imperial Troops Butchered and Removed Organs of Dead Aboriginals and Ate Them.
2 they captured 12,000 Aboriginal Teenaged Girls and Raped them and Murdered them to hide the crime but one escaped and told the Story
3 they had 9 year old Babies in their comfort houses (Brothels) who were forced to service up to 500 unwashed White Australian Imperial Soldiers a Day
and No 4 is the real reason
In New Zealand and The Outback the White Australian army played a Game where they captured Aboriginal Pregnant women cut them open with Bayonets and Removed the Foetus and passed it from Bayonet to bayonet and if it fell to the Ground they played Football with it whilst the Mother watched and Bled to death
How Do I know this I SAW THE FILM taken by the White Australian Imperial Army’s Official Photographer
Forty2, you are a genius. These patriotically correct mental midgets believe their own lies and propoganda.
Hiroshima and Nagasaka had NOTHING to with this SAVING LIVES BS. Hiroshima and Nagasaki were to put fear into STALIN. Japan had been trying to surrender for 6 monts before but they would not let the war end before TEACHING STALIN A LESSON with Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Terrorism is "violence for political purposes" or at least that’s the way the dictionaries referred to it before 9/11. Since then, the dictionaries were re-written to call terrorism "violence by non-state actors against the state for political purposes".
The original definition is, of course, the most accurate.
And in terms of the biggest such event, it was actually Dresden (before Hiroshima/Nagasaki). The Allied forces fire-bombed Dresden and killed somewhere between 250,000 to 400,000 european refugees in about 10 hours with most of them dying from suffocation (the fire bombing consumes enough oxygen to drop below the 23% required for humans to breath). It was known before hand and backed up after the fact that there were no military targets at Dresden.
Additionally, the numbers are hard to find, but the reason the U.S. nuked Nagasaki/Hiroshima is because they had already fire-bombed 60% of Tokyo killing more people there than at either of the villages.
They chose those two towns because they were "fresh targets" and the bombs were not aimed at the Japanese, but at Russia during the pre-cold war pissing contest that almost actually led to the U.S. attempting to blow a chunk of rock off the side of the moon …
Welcome to the idiocy of government and it’s realities.

Considering each country was in a state of war the answer is no but the attack on Pearl Harbor can be considered that.
